LVCP focuses on the emerging venture capital landscape in Southern Africa, which remains significantly underpenetrated compared to other emerging markets.
Our primary investment strategy targets high-potential technology ventures in the SADC region, with a focus on early-stage funding from Seed to Series A. While later-stage rounds (Series B+) remain underfunded and offer a shorter path to liquidity, our core mandate is to bridge the critical funding gap at the early growth stage, providing catalytic capital to scale promising startups.
Our Story
Liberation Venture Capital Partners (“LiVCap”) is the venture capital arm of Shiloh Capital in partnership with NSM Capital.
LiVCap’s goal is to provide “liberation capital” that will enable the entrepreneur to bet on themselves, test their ideas and bring them to fruition
Shiloh Capital is a private markets investment and advisory firm that manages shareholder capital with the goal to provide long term compounded returns. We focus on permanent capital as durations are longer in Africa and we prefer to have unconstrained time limits and total flexibility in how we invest
LiVCap is firmly rooted in Africa, focuses on pre-seed to Series A investment, we maintain a significant competitive advantage in Africa’s frontier and emerging markets
Our focus is on media, entertainment and sport opportunities that are in their infancy that seek provide goods and services which cater to the world’s current and future needs
LiVCap is a conduit for investors to have direct access to portfolio companies
LiVCap is currently fundraising for LVCP Fund I with a fund target of $10m
